Rascal and his litter-mate Flats came to the shelter because their owner could no longer care for them. Now they are eager to have a new person to love and home to explore. Rascal and flats are only five to six months old and are a bit shy. They will need someone who goes slow and gives them time to get used to their new surroundings. Once they are comfortable, they love attention and talk to you as you pet and rub them. Rascal is the more reserved of the two but will come over and to make sure he gets his share of attention. He loves to be stroked and rubbed. Rascal has shiny, black fur with just a bit of white on his chest and darker eyes. Their owner describes Rascal and Flats as house cats and lap cats. They both use a scratching post or pad and gets along with older children they have never been around babies or toddlers. While this pair could be adopted separately, they would be perfect for someone who is looking for a sweet pair of cats who are already great friends! $97.50 FEE INCLUDES: neutering/spaying, initial distemper vaccination, microchip/registration, rabies vaccination voucher, FeLv/FIV test and county license. Cats 5 years of age and older benefit from a $20 discount in the adoption fee. Cats 10 years of age and older benefit from a $40 discount in the adoption fee.
