Tom came to the shelter with his litter -mate Jerry as babies. They were recently returned to the shelter because their owner felt he could not give them enough attention. Now they are ready for a forever home. They are both about a year old. Tom has thick, plush fur that is a pleasure to stroke. He is the more reserved of the two but is curious and will come over to greet you. Once he knows you are safe, he likes to be petted and rubbed Their owner describes Tom and Jerry as house cats and more independent. They both use a scratching post or pad and ride well in a car. Tom and Jerry do not mind being picked up or held (on their terms). They get along with children of all ages, dogs, and other cats. While they could be adopted separately, Tom and Jerry would love to stay together. They have grown up together and are best friends. Come in and meet this sweet duo soon! $97.50 FEE INCLUDES: neutering/spaying, initial distemper vaccination, microchip/registration, rabies vaccination voucher, FeLv/FIV test and county license. Cats 5 years of age and older benefit from a $20 discount in the adoption fee. Cats 10 years of age and older benefit from a $40 discount in the adoption fee. Adopt two cats or more in the same day and receive $20 off each additional animal. Housetraining: all cats in the shelter use wood pellet litter in disposable trays.
