Delilah was very shy at the shelter and was placed into Foster Care in November. Her Foster Mom reports that she is progressing very well in a home environment. On a day to day basis you would never know she had any social issues. She is not skittish with loud/strange noises, or a variety of different people; she is very comfortable with kids sprinting around and sometimes throwing themselves at her to love on her. She needs the most work in new environments such as the park, vet, etc. Delilah is a fast learner and an affectionate dog. She likes to be with you, get belly rubs, and interact without being overly pushy. She is content sitting at your feet while you work on something or simply relaxing in her kennel until it is time to play. She is food motivated but doesn't have much toy drive. I was surprised to see how quickly she adjusted to running on the treadmill-- she LOVES it. I have all the dogs on the treadmill for about 30 minutes each day, and if I skip a day she is standing on the treadmill telling me "Let's GO!" She does very well with the 5 dogs she has been around here. She is playful, but not mouthy at all and spends most of her time play bowing around and flopping over/frolicking with her playmates here. She is crate trained and house broken. Delilah will make a wonderful companion for a lucky and patient owner, and I would really recommend that she go to a home with other well-socialized dogs so that she may continue to flourish. Additionally, she does know come, sit, down, shake, place, stay, and heel. She is about 2 years old, and about 58 pounds.

Dogs 1 year to 5 years = $92.50 - FEE INCLUDES: neutering/spaying, intial distemper vaccination, rabies vaccination voucher, microchip/registration, vet health exam and county license.
Puppies 8 weeks to 1 year = $150.00 - FEE INCLUDES: neutering/spaying, vaccinations, microchip/registration, vet health exam, rabies voucher, and county license.
Optional Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichiosis Test is an additional $25.00.
Dogs 5 years of age and older benefit from a $20 discount in the adoption fee. Dogs 10 years of age and older benefit from a $40 discount in the adoption fee. Adopt two dogs or more in the same day, and receive $20 off each additional animal.
