Sweet, little Hazel and her litter-mater Tippy came to the shelter because of a death in the family. They are only eleven months old and were great friends. Because Tippy recently got adopted, Hazel is lonely and would love to have a home of her own. Hazel is a petite, beautiful, brown tabby with soft fur. When Hazel first arrived at the shelter she was a little shy, but now she is quite comfortable and LOVES attention! Hazel reaches out to you, and as you pet her, she squints her eyes with pleasure. Her previous owner says that Hazel has always been inside and is a lap cat. Hazel uses a scratching post or pad and rides well in a car. She has not been around babies or toddlers, but gets along with older children. Hazel also gets along with dogs and other cats. She loves to play and likes water! If you are looking for a sweet girl, come in and check out Hazel. Some lucky person will come in and adopt her! $97.50 FEE INCLUDES: neutering/spaying, initial distemper vaccination, microchip/registration, rabies vaccination voucher, FeLv/FIV test and county license.
Cats 5 years of age and older benefit from a $20 discount in the adoption fee. Cats 10 years of age and older benefit from a $40 discount in the adoption fee. Adopt two cats or more in the same day and receive $20 off each additional animal.
Housetraining: all cats in the shelter use wood pellet litter in disposable trays. Cats are litter trained in the shelter or in foster care unless otherwise noted.
