Tortoiseshell - Shadow - Small - Adult - Female - Cat
Shadow is a gorgeous tortoiseshell and is about 1 1/2 years old. She has been a stray all her life and had a litter of kittens over the summer. She brought them to my friend's door and asked them for help. They had been feeding her and didn't even realize she was pregnant since she was so thin. In September once her kittens were old enough we decided to take her to our house. We were worried about the weather getting colder and her getting hit by a car. After a few weeks, we realized that because of her background as a stray she is very sensitive to loud noises. And we have three young children. She is very happy to be inside a warm house, but she doesn't venture far from her safe room upstairs where she can get away from all the noise and curious hands and voices. The problem is, she is afraid of our kids and won't leave that room and we need it for our infant who has been sleeping in our bedroom but is now getting too big and needs his own room. I know she would make a great companion for a quiet household. She is very smart, curious and loves to play with toy mice...and her tail! She has a microchip, has been spayed and has had her first round of shots. Please help us find a safe, quiet home for this beautiful kitty. [email removed]
